When I first got my Camaro, I knew I wanted to change a lot of the chrome to black, including the SS badge on the trunk lid. The first thing I found was some black vinyl SS letters from here. I got the job done, but my hands weren't quite steady enough to do a fantastic job. If I got really close, I could see a tiny bit of red.
Next, I got a black SS badge from EmblemPros.com. Better... but.... I ended up buying another SS badge that I sent to Lupe @ River City Creations. He painted it gloss black and I'm totally in love with the final look!

Oh, one last little thing.. I got Synergy Green wheel centers from BigWorm. The color is a perfect match.

Hubby found a pretty green in spray paint at Michaels' Craft Store. He convinced me to let him respray the gauge/console area. Plus he painted the steering wheel trim. We (he, lol) are working on the gauge trim, not sure what's next after that.

One suggestion, PC the Rims as well! It is a fairly in-expensive MOD (Mine ran 50 a wheel)...The Syn on Black wheels is the sickest look I have seen yet! And you have done such a sick job on all your other MODS it would be a nice final touch! This is a beautiful car, you and your husband have done awesome! I would reccomend COTW

Thanks for the suggestion. I have seen some of the black wheels on the Syn. I don't like the all total black wheels, but the black with green accents is pretty nice. That's down the ever-growing-mod-list though. (Does it ever stop??) lol

Got the steering wheel complete with the small SS on the bottom, Man, That was hard to paint! Well, it was easy to paint, but difficult to outline in black. I got the dash gauge painted and put back in too.
This weekend, I'm taking it back apart though, and swapping the steering wheel and dash gauge LEDs. I'm slowing changing all the blue ones to green. Anything red or amber (all the warning lights) are staying red and green.

I've put green LEDs in the 4 pack, speed/tack gauge, door ABL, steering wheel, window switches, headlight switch and HUD switch. I'll eventually get to the radio, but I may wait until I upgrade it and buy one of the color changing models.
I apologize for the nighttime photos. I seem to have slight difficulties getting nice sharp pictures of LEDs. I also got decals for the 4 pack.
