I ordered it, but then I removed it once I saw the car at an auto show -- the lines of the car without the ground effects are pretty sweet. I'm not too much a fan of how the side panels detract from the lines pretty significantly. Also the side panels are somewhat duplicative of the lower part of the door panels - not sure I like that. As it is dealer installed, however, I can always order it later if I think it needs it. It is, though, much more difficult to order it with, have the car delivered, and then get it removed from the sticker if you change your mind.

I'm hoping the aftermarket comes out with something nearly identical at a slightly lower price. RKSport usually does a couple sets for GM cars, and one is usually identical to the stock set.

That just shows, imo, how the GFX look like an afterthought. It looks like they slapped them on and hadn't gotten the time to paint them body color yet.

I just don't understand how GM can offer a set of GFX and NOT have them painted to match your car.

I understand aftermarket set's coming unpainted, but not a set that comes from the manufacturer...

I was thinking about it, but they are not body color. Too much of a hassle and money to have them painted by a local bodyshop.

I ordered mine as IOM & gnd effects. I've choose to have the gnd effects painted IOM upon arrival before Dealer installation. Yes, it's an extra expence but, I just love the gnd effects and couldn't imagin them being any other color but IOM. Besides, I'm all about personalizing. Just because they paint or build the Camaro with certin colors doesn't mean it can't be customized like one wants it right?

My '67 isn't all factory, but, "I" like what I've done to it.
You will see 2010's changing too! That's what makes us independent and the right to be different. No matter what, we going to all LOVE our new CAMaros. And, the resale stuff I've been reading...forget it. I've owner my '67 since age 16 and well probably own this one as long or longer too!

Good luck with your choice............

Does anyone know if the ground effects include the rear end like what the back of the Camaro Black looks like with the square exhaust openings?

Its pretty simple really....if they offer them painted they would have to have a different part number for each color available, then there would still be a chance that the color wouldn't match your car exactly. Only way to offer the GFX painted would be a factory install which would make it even more expensive. All replacement body parts from GM, that I know of, come primered or painted a basic color like white.Only way to get an exact match in the color is to have the car there when the GFX are painted.

No they all come in the Gray metallic. no color choices are available at this time. that does not mean in the future they will have different colors. Your body shop can always color match them for you anyway.

I'd be willing to bet the added price of having them painted/installed at the factory will be no more than the cost of having them painted/installed by the dealer or bodyshop...
