P.S....not sure if you left out listing other options you ordered, but if you are paying 37-40K for a 2SS w/ just the sunroof and hurst options you are getting screwed.
Actually After Taxes, Titles, Plates and all that other hoopla non sens hes actually right on target, w/o the stripes, r/s package and such, I dont know where u guys seem to think that TAXES dont exist anymore.

Legal Fees in buying a car over 30 grand is well over 2k.

The camaro doesn't have much of a back seat anyway.

I had a brand new 2009 corvette offered to me for $41,400.00 with 3.5% financing.

For those wondering about the car to buy, go sit in all of them and ask the price and decide. The Chally and Vette suck when it comes to comfort. The Camaro sfeals real nice to sit in and is easy to get in and out. Makes a difference for older or larger folks and passengers..

Well the sticker price he was talking about on the vette wouldn't have included that either. So I was trying to compare apples to apples.

Not sure how great you can consider the resale value of the vette considering how much below MSRP people are picking them up for....that's going to turn into lower trade-in/resale values. I think that the Camaro is going to have a better resale value ratio than the vette. At least til the 6th gens come out.

This is it. The C6 is hot, and will be better in every performance category from 1/4 mile, to whatever track you want, to mpg's. The Camaro SS is going to be close though, with a good bit more utility while being arguably even better looking than the C6. It's all about what you want!

Thanks guys for all your help, I'm going to go for the Vette - too good of a deal to walk away from. I'm keeping my order active though - who knows, my fiance will need a new car soon enough......

Hey, we live in the same city!
I don't know where you're buying from, but the best deals around here are going to be in santa ana, oceanside, or most places in riverside.

Honestly, I don't know what I would do, but if you're keeping the truck and it's in good condition(not going to die soon) I think the 'vette would be the way to go. If it's going to be your main or only car I'd go with the Camaro
