Kinda. It sucks that it got hit. Just a scratch on the nose. Insurance paid $550 and change. I would have preferred not getting hit. I think the only time you lose is when you have a total loss and your mods disappear. I'll always buy back and keep the good stuff and part it out. Nice to have a shop.

LOL. He said he wants to come by on Sundays at the shop and play poker and that it was the fastest car he has ever been in. Nice guy.

I know earlier I read some threads here where someone's insurance dropped them. It's something you have to be very careful with when investigating. Uhhh, hi Allstate, Can you give me a quote for a modded out new Camaro with 650+ HP?? Yes- Zero dollars since we no longer cover you!! (This is what I don't want to hear)
Allstate is very good. I hit a deer a year ago with my Camaro 700hp with all my mods and the adjuster said that I was completely covered for anything done to my car as long as I had receipts to show the mods, right down to the extra chrome goodies. They covered a new charge air cooler and all the ducting for my supercharger. They even covered the clear bra on the whole front end and the custom painted rally stripes. All total it was an $8000 repair bill, completely covered.
My premiums didn't go up at all. Just keep every receipt and you are covered.

seems like onstarr and such has drastically reduced grand theft auto... it wont be long before every car on the road has it and car theft will be a thing of the past completely .. or else

After my car was rearended and pushed into another vehicle in front of me as i was sitting still doing damage to my car front and rear. Allstate looked at it and wrote a check for 2500.00 and said upon further inspection if anything else is damaged they would cover it. Well i had my speed shop do the work and there was more damage so the inspector went to the shop and seen the car with the front and rear bumpers off. He also seen all the mods i had done and was nice about it and is sending me another check for an additional 2100 to cover it. He seen the moded everything and said nice car!
