But a dealer needs to perform and
document the inspection for GM.

Call your dealer...based on the dates,
it may have been already completed.

Nope- 2 handwashes and 2 "do-it-yourself" wash... eight the quarter machines, etc...

just talked to my dealer and i'm taking it in Monday or Tuesday for a check out. He basically said if you put the top down one time you would know whether or not the water bag was a problem when the material got snagged and the 5th bar got bent. i've had mine down over 15-20 times so i'm not worried.

I have put the top down a few times just found out about this now my vin is 9156933 and it was delivered on March 10th so I guess I need to call the dealer and have it checked out.

I had to go to the dealership to turn in a receipt for an inspection sticker and had printed off info from this thread. They had no idea what I was talking about and it took them 15 minutes in the computer to find the bulletin.

They checked it right then and no problem.

Hey, I am not a VIN expert but, I believe, the 9 before your 6 digit sequence number is not part of the number Becky gave. The 9 is not part of the number that tells you sequence at Factory. The 9 means car is from Oshawa plant in Canada.

I went in today and the waterbag was sticking out on both sides but not enough to grab hold of the 5 brace. They went in and followed the tech order and pulled the waterbag flush with the wall and now it doesn't come even close. They said they had to replace the 5th brace in another convertible that was ordered before mine. If you lower the top halfway down you can see the the waterbag on both sides. It looks like tarp material
