Mine's sitting at Livernois right now!!! Kook's 1 7/8's, Roto-Fab CAI, Borla Touring catback (GMPP axle back was already there, having them add the Borla X pipe), and a Tune (L99). Gonna be a long couple days....... Can't wait!

Im waiting on Kooks to ship mine and the wait is killing me! Got a great price from Maryland speed but I guess they have sold so many sets. My cats are in but have to wait another week for the headers to arrive! Already have a Borla S type cat back system, K&N cai, VMaxx throttle body, and have had Phil at Tampa tuning have his way with my car. Come on Kooks and UPS!

The warranty is there to stop you from having fun with YOUR car. Voiding your warranty is very liberating. Do EEEEEEEEEET!

Congrats!

Ahhhhhhh I've been wanting to get my headers for awhile now! But everyones telling me check engine signs will start coming up!

Wait headers no tune won't void anything except the exhaust warranty right?

Congratulations on your mods. I must say when I purchased my SS last year I was very disappointed until I started to put mods on the vehicle.
As so many other people are stuck on their warranty concerns we take steps to throw on a few mods or go all out to enjoy the true driving experience of the Camaro with all that power, and performance locked up waiting to get out.
These vehicles are built to meet environmental concerns and cafe rules and therefore lack the expected performance, we the consumer end up having to make the mods to get the thrill we expected when we first drove off the lot on that first day.
Cheers to you, and don't even worry about warranty; I've had huge mods done and I trust my performance installer much more than I could ever trust the cookie cutter GM mechanics. And, so what if I have to purchase a new clutch or driveshaft because I have 750hp., I'd prefer that than to drive a 420hp. SS "truck" around all day.

Jumped off the fence today. Placed my order for Kooks 1-7/8" headers ceramic coated with high flow cats installed with tune. Put a Volant CAI in last week. I have the GMPP axle back and I am keeping the resonator. Told it will keep the loud down and not effect performance. Just what I want. Now can I stop the madness????

When you do headers...There will be check engine light for sure...You
need to get a tune anyhow to get all the power out...Did mine at SPI
in Oakville yesterday and made a HUGE difference...Lots more power
and even more torque...I have a L99 also...Glad i did it...

I will be doing this modification soon. Think I'll go with the 1 7/8 and then get a tune. May as well do it right.
