2SSRS What did you cover the LED's with??

Here's what I'm thinking. Here in florida it is required to have a reflector on your vehicle. Do you think its possible to just do the LED area with clear pleiglass and the rest with reflector?

Pretty amazing piece of work. I think the LED lighting all the way across the lens looks great. As a cheap alternative that's not nearly as cool, is there any reason why you can't install an LED 194 style LED into the traditional bulb hole? I've used some 5smd LED's in my dome and licence plate areas and really like the results.
If you could do this for the sidemarkers would they be plain old 194 LED's or would they have to have the CAN BUS resistors? From what I've read the Camaro doesn't need CAN BUS LED's. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I can let you know the answer to this question in a day or two. Not taking away from this type of DIY but I found a set of clear/chrome sidemarkers, masked and painted them to look similar to the Oracle sidemarkers but instead of using the full array of LEDs, just a simple 5 SMD 194 bulb:
