1st post. Been lurking for months, finally had something to contribute.

This is a good thread for all us that deal with the "small" dealers. I'm #1 at my dealer, 5 total allotments. Ordered 10/16: 2SS w/ RS and IO interior package, IOM exterior, so no constraints.

Called two days ago about the consensus. No new news. Was told they "wouldn't know anything until they put the final consensus in later this month." Told the manager he should know whether they'll be able to get one (or more) for April, said he hadn't looked at the initial report yet. Sounds like BS.

I'm going to find it hard to believe if they don't get one for April. I'll know I'm getting screwed if next month they don't get 1 for May.

Called today and my dealer said I was #16 out of 20 allocations. They will submit an order on March 12th for about 5 and said mine would be in the second wave. He also said there show car will be here in a few weeks.

He told me that I should expect my Camaro to be here no later than May 1st! However I'm not holding my breath from what I have read on this form.

It's so close I can smell the burning rubber!!!!

I wish I would here something from my dealer. I called him on Friday to talk to him and he said he still has not gotten any cars pulled. His guide is 4 and I am #2 at his dealership.

I would have thought his dealership would have gotten one pulled by now. He is to get 4 and they will not get their first one pulled until May?

I am not sure if I can trust him or not. He seems nice, and is the only dealership in the area honoring GMS on this, so I have to go with him. I just wish I knew if he was telling me the truth or not.

priority #8 dealer received 2 for the month of march.
will get 5 for April. Good news for me because on of 1 of the 6 wants a LS. Therefore I fall into April production, which mean I will have my
2ss IOM in April according to dealer. Navarre Chevrolet Lake Charles Louisiana.

#1 priority.......5 total production guide cars.

He received 2 this concensus for April build.

He assured me I'd be one of the 2 submitted and added that these were 2 additional guide cars on top of his original 5. This man knows the ordering process like the back of his hand, and I have a very good relationship with him, so I wasn't about to tell him he's wrong about the 2 additional cars, but I think he is. Someone else here has stated they got the same report from their dealer, so something they're seeing in the system is evidently misleading them....or....the building of fleet, etc. cars has gone so well GM has actually upped their production guide number.
I also stated how many people are frustrated trying to get info. from their dealers, and he said, "We're frustrated too...but that's GM."

My order date is 10/15/08 I am #1 and only one of 3 allotment dealer got 0 last time and 0 for this time hoping for better luck next month.

Call your dealer back. Tell him to guess again.

i ordered mine 10-13 i am #1 of 9 total through q3. target build date is march 30- april 5. dealer things may have by the 15th. 2 ss/rs ibm black ralley black int. 20" polished. exhaust work done by www.noweeds.net FOR FREE!!!! thank you steve!!! and dakota digital.
