Op, I must ask: I've seen where v6 owners "said" the v6 was more fun than the v8 and just just as quick. After owning both, is this true? Or were they just trying to defend and justify their purchase?

That's something I'd like to do. I miss having a V8 personally, not that I'm unhappy with the V6, just miss the sound and the power. My concern would be that I'd take a good hit on a trade.

Have owned my 1LT for a week. I love it, and honestly it moves. In the end it comes down to what you can afford. I personally have seen many people here trading LT's to 2SS's. The reality is simple: they could afford it.
Some guys down here still have to show LLT love. :3

The only thing I regret is the sound, but I know it can come close through headers/cai/full exhaust.

I'm waiting for something more powerful then the ZL-1,perhaps a ZL-1 Limited with 636 H.P. 550 H.P. just doesn't cut the mustard with me. Anybody else feel the same way?

FYI, some of us V6 owners got the V6 because we couldn't afford the SS.
How do you think comments like the ones you made are supposed to make us feel?

You guys who trade in must have very merciful dealerships. Around here, you drive off the lot, your car depreciates 20%. Try to trade it in, and sure they'll take it, but they will bend you over I just can't, in good conscious, throw away that much money.
