Thats what i did with mine.
Rolled up on ramps, jacked up the car, removed the ramps, installed the springs and loosened the bushings, put ramps back under, lowered the car, crawled under (after bouncing the car) tightened the bushings. Took it for an alignment this morning and it tracks true and rides fantastic.

Beautiful Car!! I am glad to hear that worked for you. I installed everything yesterday and tonight I will be doing the timing and the alignment will be done by the shop on Friday! I can't WAIT to get this thing on the curves of the Georgia country roads!! Thanks to everyone for helping me find innovative ways to DYI!! |

I just got to doing this today, still only have 2k miles on the car. I actually loosened everything on the floor. I got to the rh inner radius rod bushing through engine compartment, lh inner radius rod bushing from under car w/ impact, also got to the inner control arm bushings from under car w/ long extension and impact. I loosened the bolts to where they were hand tight. Bounced the car up and down, put rags on core support and jumped up and down on it, and even pulled in/out my garage a few times that has a 1" lip. Tightened all bolts back down, took it for a little ride and still sitting too high in front. What gives?
This is the second set of springs from BMR I have installed. I had two pm's from members with same issues, one stating they cut the BMR spring down and the other said he has learned to live with it. |

Most people will think you have no idea what you are talking about. Very few actually know what it is or how to do it.

Took that over to meineke and they said they could do it. Their charge would be the alignment plus an hour of labor. |

Yea that's too much. I went to 4 different shops all said it would be the price of an alignment plus 1 hr of labor. The most expensive of the 4 was $190.

an hour is fair for the timing of the bushings, 1.5 hours is high but not obscene.
More than that and they are either pricing themselves out of the job on purpose, or just don't understand what is needed. |

If you want to drive a little go to MVP auto in Murrieta 951-461-8477. Tall to Mike. He is great to deal with and has reasonable rates. Think he charged me $125 for an alignment and timing the bushings.
