Awesome acceleration, heroic grip, and even better fuel economy!!! Those braking numbers are a tad weak, but understandable given the weight, and easily cured with a small upgrade. Woooooooohooooooo!

This settles it. I'm going for the SS. That fuel economy is AMAZING for a V8, and those performance stats are just too good. Man, if I went for the V6 my gas bill would hardly increase at all. So excited.

Exactly my thoughts to begin with...

The numbers are so close that you're saving what? $12/MONTH ??? Sorry V8 all the way....

Oh and not just any V8....the CORVETTE V8

Dude those V8 MPG's are so impressive, I get an average 22 mpg on my 4 banger 08 Altima.

What it means is that the Camaro itself is probably capable of much more than 155, but due to the rating of the tires it will be limited to 155.

I wonder how conservative these numbers are/aren't. I think we're going to see people here get close to mid-12s on a good strip with a good driver. I'll be betting people who're getting high-12s with stock 4th. Gens. will be getting mid-12s (12.6-12.7) with the SSs. I was hoping to be in front of those Dodge boys a little more but these are still great times in a great car.

Friggin' cool

Guys... is anybody else emotional?

I mean, it's HERE! Years of following this beautiful piece of machinery and drooling over every bit of information that leaked out...it's over! Now we're onto the anticipation of getting that phone call from our dealer saying, "Hey, come pick up your new Camaro...it's in!"

Not only is it absolutely gorgeous...and very true to the design we fell in love with, but the numbers all around just kept getting better and better.

I would just like to thank everybody involved (including the mods and guys that make this site happen on a day to day basis).

Very exciting. We know everything about it...except for how it drives...and that day is right around the corner!
