Fresno

Hey Guys,

How weird, I am on this website everyday, and this is the first time since I posted on this link, that I've seen it come around again. I got "Blue" on May 11th. She is more than I imagined as far as quality, power and overall satisfaction. I am not drving her every day yet, but will eventually. We should all get together when we all have our Camaros, and do a group shot. I haven't seen more than two owner's Camaros in a photo on this website yet....lets make history here! Mine is still stock at this point, and will be until K&N releases a CAI for it. The only other MOD I will probably do is GMPP catback. Feel free to contact me via direct message on here anytime. I am a pro photographer, and would love to do that "group shot" of as many Camaros as we can get together. Be glad to share the image with all that participate, as well as posting it on Camaro5 website. One thing is for sure, the 2010 Camro is a "natural" in front of a camera! Fresno-Clovis Camro people say hi if you see me and blue in town. here are a few pics of my baby "blue"

Rob53-
I've seen a lot of nice pictures of acquired cars on this site but that tail shot really moves me! As I ordered the same color, I am now very happy!

ABM

Thanks guys. I ordered back in October for MSRP, was #2 on the order list at Michaels of Fresno. #1 got caught up in the QC hold, and mine was the first delivered to Fresno. ABM really is a beautiful color and sunlight seems to wrap around it and create all kinds of deep and lighter tones around her sharp curves. I was going to put white rally stripes on her, but I really love her as she is. May wind up doing that at some point, but right now, she is perfect as far as I am concerned. I will be doing more photos as I find a good place to do a shoot. Any locals have any suggestions for a good location for a photo shoot? I look forward to meeting other new Camaro owners soon!

Very nice photos of that color. Do you think your photos represent what the ABM really looks like in real life? I had heard there was a greenish tinge to it in direct sunlight.

Also, are those blue lights on the gauges part of the ambient lighting on a 2lt/2ss or is that just the default color for an 1LT? (I know the ambient lighting part on the doors are on 2LT/2ss).

ABM

Yeah thats what she looks like in the sun. Different angles give different shades of blue. The green is very hard to see, at least for me anyways. I can not say what ambient lighting goes with what trim, just know what mine looks like. I'll add a few more pics in bright sunlight to show the color in different angles. The close up pics with highlights caused by the sun seem to show a hint of green. The color ABM seems to change as you walk around the car. I'm sure the other metallic flake colors also do that as well. It's just very difficult trying to determine the true color of this car because it changes depending on the angle of the sun. Hoping to do some location shooting soon, to give her a background worthy of her beauty!

As soon as mine comes, I'd be game.

When I last looked at that VIN# site, it showed that eight have been delivered in the Fresno / Clovis area so far. (There might have been more, but that was all their info mentioned.)

VIN#'s
1778, 2SS Silver, "Hedrick's Chevrolet"
1797, 2SS Yellow w/Black stripes and Sunroof, "Michael's Chevrolet"
3325, 2LT/RS, Silver, "Hedrick's"
3471, 1LT/RS, Red w/Black stripes, "Michael's"
6230, 2SS/RS, Aqua, Sunroof, "Michael's"___(Rob53's car)
6532, 2LT, Silver, "Hedrick's"
7292, LS, Yellow w/Black stripes, "Michael's"
9387, 2SS/RS, Red Jewel, Sunroof, "Hedrick's"

I didn't look up all the real close by towns, but there have been some delivered. In fact, on May 6th, that gentleman from Sanger got his Silver Camaro. We could get a pretty good turnout if everybody finds out about it and is willing to. I've always thought the dealerships would like to do it, if for no other reason than to put a photo up on the wall....

I'm planning a Camro5 meeting in California next month. I'll make a thread in the following week. I'm aiming for the 27th.

Hey Fresno / Clovis guys. Today, well actually yesterday (I haven't been to sleep yet) I saw a pair of Camaros getting taken off the truck. No, I didn't have a camera with me (really didn't expect to see this, oh well). Long story short, I took a different road due to road construction / repairs, and I saw them. There was an IBM 1SS and a RJT 2SS/RS...at least I think it was, because it was still on the truck and I couldn't see in there to tell if it had leather or cloth. Anyway, I talked to the driver for a moment, and asked him which dealership he was taking 'em to. He told me Clovis. So if anybody was waiting for their Camaro that fits this description, and are getting it from Hedricks, give 'em a call if they haven't already called you. From what I saw, both of 'em were beautiful...dusty, but beautiful!!! Oh, for what it's worth, the truck driver asked me if I had seen the orange ones? When I told him that I hadn't yet, he went on and on telling me how great that color looks!!! That's all for this update...have fun guys!
