What numbers would you expect with a set of ported/polished heads?

What does this car make in the middle of summer 77 degree weather? When you dynoed the car it was 30 degrees outside.

How come only one Corvette made 530rwhp and only on YOUR dyno?

If the numbers were STD then it would be a valid point, but they are corrected to SAE atmospheric conditions according to his graph. You should test him on what SAE standard he is using so you can continue your argument.

If you believe SAE is the perfect correction I have a bridge id like to sell you.
On his dyno you can enter your own weather conditions.

We'd be glad to have you backup our numbers on any dyno, or even more importantly at the track where it actually matters! Just make the pot sweet enough so it's worth our time to prove you wrong.

After doing this for 11+ years there is no need for us to defend ourselves. Proof is in the ET & the numerous records that we still hold for years in the LSx world.

SAE correction factor is standard in this industry. The STD/JIS/DIN, etc. will increase numbers over the SAE, and, the UNC (Uncorrected) figures are what the car is actually making with no correction factors. People use SAE to try to compare dyno numbers across different weather conditions, areas of the world, etc.

Depending on the set, but I'd figure another 25-30.

Like I always tell people, dyno numbers are just dyno numbers. Take it to the real world, proof is in the ET not a dyno graph..

I figured you would dodge the question. What current records do you hold with this cam powering the vehicle?
SAE on your dyno can be told the weather conditions therefor making the numbers inflate. SAE means nothing at all.
The truth is the Dynapack dyno reads 6-8% higher than the typical DynoJet dyno. I want to see the numbers on the industry standard DynoJet.

Where is your record setting Camaro ET with this cam?

Interesting scenario Sam - I would think a side by side race, (at E-town or Atco) against a known commodity, would resolve these HP claims. Not in November/December with negative DA but sometime soon, before the winter weather hits and while the track surface is still good.

This is a validation I'd like to see in person!

Never claimed to have a record setting ET with this cam... You are attacking us saying that we can change the weather conditions, etc. to make SAE look better. Read the dyno graph, the time & weather is on it.

I can make the claim that we hold numerous LSx records. Which we do, including, world's fastest supercharged late model Corvette C5/C6 (8.41@154), worlds fastest stock bottom end C5 supercharged (9.73@144), worlds fastest stock bottom end c6 (9.72@143), worlds fastest stock bottom end c5 turbo (9.73@140). Sorry, what records do you hold in the LSx world?

Once again, If you believe our numbers are falsified that is fine. Your first post in this thread was an attack, claiming our numbers our falsified & we are liars. You obviously have made your decision already to not deal with ECS because we are liars, I respect your decision.

Ed: we will have some numbers on Gen 5's real soon including our stock bottom end ECS supercharged 2SS. Unfortunately our customers come before our cars here & we have been doing extensive trackside prep. for clients as the LSx Shootout is approaching quickly!

Thanks
Matt

Matt: What classes are you racing in at the LSX Shoot-out? I'd love to follow the progress. BTW - I don't count those "cam only" - "stock bottom end" or other internet generated categories as real racing classes.

Real records have a rule book to follow.

I agree with you Ed.. I've never been the dyno number chaser or the E/T racer myself.

No need to bring the ECS resume out, but Doug won the '09 LSx Shootout True Street class, Rob Farley won five racing series (Not individual races, ENTIRE series) with our heads/cam package in one year (Also consistently wins numerous LSx Shootout index classes, brackets, etc. - Rob is a great racer with great parts!), Jay McCardle has taken numerous real street events this year, including runnerup at the LSx event back in back in Georgia.

At the LSx Shootout we will have multiple cars in the following classes; True Street, Real Street, Rumble, 5th Gen Challenge.

Ed: If you are coming down to the shootout (Or anyone for that matter), stop by the ECS tent in the midway or catch us trackside with the stacker.

Thanks

Matt

Love to be down there this year but I'll be at the hospital with the boss. She's in for knee surgery so unless I want to be visited by a divorce lawyer, I better stay with her!

I believe that LSX powered Fox body will be there - if he gets all those stupid bugs figured out and it's completely track ready. Should be in a True Street configuration, I *think* -
