Do you have any idea of a date yet Meat?

Funny you should ask....

I think we are nailed down to the 28th of Aug. It's a Sunday and it will be later in the day. I am still scouting locations so that is TBD.
The photographers are locked in as are the models for that date.
So...now....I need a solid yes or no from folks so I can work the plan.

The time to show will be somewhere between 3 and 4 pm at the shooting location. We will shoot right up to just before dark. I can't shoot in the am or at high noon....shooting vehicles well takes a certain light quality and we can always light up dark spaces.

Some of the photographers have expressed interest in doing some personality portraits of the owners and their cars. You can work that out once we all get to the site.

Bring a cooler with drinks and snacks...sunscreen...chairs...etc

Also...we will need to keep the cars showroom ready clean. So...bring your detailing spray and your all cotton no swirlie cloths to keep the smudgies to a minimum.

NOTE: I will not ask or will not allow any model to get on my car. That is up to you as to what you will allow done in and around your car. The photogs and the models understand that dynamic and will need your permission when shooting a model in or around your machine. We will all discuss this first thing so that everyone is comfortable.

This is shaping up to be a fantastic showing and I anticipate some amazing photography. All of you who are participating....you are getting professional work for the cost of nothing to you. The only thing I ask in return is that you be patient...relax...enjoy yourselves....and understand that this is a process and an art form and not a snapshot at a car show or meet and greet.

Looking forward to meeting you all and shooting some great imagery of your Camaros! By the way...one of my photogs has a gorgeous Dodge Charger that is his show car...and yes...he will be bringing it....try not to give him to much crap ok

NOTE number TWO: I am having a couple of videographers come to shoot as well...so there will some very interesting products done in the multimedia realm for your enjoyment as well. We will produce a hot little video and post it for you to have as well.

So now that you have the date and the time....I need to know who is in!!!!

gah, I leave to go back up to school on the 27th. Is there any chance that you guys might do an earlier date?

I will know by week's end. Waiting for Livernois to pick up my car. If they get it, I'll have it back in time and will be there. If not, well then I'm out since I'll have no car!

Not likely. I have already locked in the models and photogs....

I wish it were easier to change things up but those schedules are not very flexible.

I'm definitely in. You don't know how happy I am this is on a Sunday. It seems I always miss out on the cool stuff, because it is usually on a Saturday.

Date/time is awesome, I won't even have to call in late or request it off. I wouldn't mind participating in a personality portrait either. I need a new FB pic anyway lol.
