From what he said, he cut the red lens off with a dremel and put an amber lens in the place of the red.

I played around with my tail lights, and the bulbs are dual filament. So you would remove one of the wires on each bulb socket so that only the correct signal works. Otherwise you would get a bright amber light for brake if you merely replace the lens.

I think the bulbs back there are 3157. You could probably remove the red, leave it clear and put in the 3157 amber bulb.

well IF you want something different for the front, get a set of STEALTH bulbs, when they are OFF it makes the trun signals white/silver, as it the refelection off the bulb, but when the light comes on, it shows as yellow.
