How do aftermarket speakers connect to the factory connectors? I have the Non BA system with the 2 connectors instead of 4 like the BA connectors. Thanks.

On a side note I have noticed that when its cool the speakers work just fine but when it's the usual Louisiana 100 degree days the back right speaker buzzes like its busted. Any ideas from you audio gurus on why the temp would have something to do with this?

My right one just went out last week. I took it to the dealer and they replaced it but told me they won't replace it again. We need something done about this. If they can't handle the volume put better speakers in.

I never turn my volume past 20. I def wouldn't consider that abuse by any means. I think they just put crappy speakers in there. Never had that problem with my Mustang... come on GM!!!

I just bought my '12 SIM with Boston speakers and when I was at the dealership, the dang tech that shows you how the car works pushed the volume up to around 30 with country music!!!

At the time I thought nothing was wrong but now, 2 weeks later, I hear random pops from one or two of the front speakers. I never have the volume above 15! I am going to mention this to the guys that sold me the car because I know this ain't normal; My cheap LS speakers worked better. I think that I have a legit case because a group of other sells guys were 20 feet away laughing when it happened.

I still have to grade them so depending on this outcome, they can expect their grade to be in-line with what happens. The dealership I bought my last LS from respected buyers by not letting testers rev above 3k or pushing the volume high. Do dealerships actually use those grade sheets?
