I live in Texas & I managed to get my lic. plate bracket handed to me. So, instead of getting holes drilled, I used a couple long skinny toggle bolts & washers to mount it half on the grill & half on the bumper.

The soul that drilled into mine upgraded to a greater idiot by far. I sort of want to meet him/her in person lol

are the holes in your sig pic too?
... Im in texas...the remote hidden plate wont work on a ZL1....
So Ill just have to go without a plate. Id rather pay for tickets then mess up a 60k car...
btw.. I ordered my Z in shreveport..... I told them to leave the plate bracket off the order!
To the OP... I would not fill and paint... get you a used bumper/cover and replace it with the same colored one.
But with NO holes in it! lol

Congrats MY69RS on the ZL1 order!!
By the way, I just Photo-shopped the holes out of my signiature. So, the hideous drill holes are still there. If I were to order a ZL1 like yourself, I definitly would not put the plates on. Smart choice!
