Polish it to give you peace of mind that it is fixed, THEN ghost armor it so it never happens again. Prevention is almost always better than fixing.

Best polish for this application is Megs PlastX with a low abrasion pad such as Adam's 4" white.

As far as install, its similar to window tint, small spray bottle with solution and a rubber squeegee.
