Anyway, here is my question. Given the heat here in Texas, how often should 303 be applied?

Also, what does heat do to the tops? It is finally starting to get cooler, but we had 80+ days of temperatures over 100+/ As my car is an every day driver, I worry about the many hours it is sitting out in the parking lot with regard to the top.

Here's a couple other tricks I've learned along the way with this car ref the top and issues I had 1; to keep the tanneau cover from rubbing a "burn-glaze" mark across the top at the first bow, place a thin piece of fabric ( I used a 3x5 piece of felt from jo-annes) over the top when down, before installing the tanneau... takes a few seconds more, but has eliminated the marks. Also serves to wrap the tanneau in when resting in the trunk. 2; I installed large washers between the plastic trim pieces and the tanneau posts. This extended the posts slightly to make install easier, and holds the plastic trim from buckling around the edges as it seemed to be doing.

Dunno how these effect the newer style tanneau, but made a huge difference in my original.
