1: How many of you have top problems?
I have had the same issues many have posted on a few threads, though I am not yet convinced that all are truly to be considered "problems" yet.

a) minor rub marks - will continue to watch them over the next year or so and address, if required, 6-12 months prior to warranty expiration. Minor blemishes are part of having a convertible - the top will never remain pristine, but will gradually deteriorate over 5-10 years, depending on storage/use.

b) puckered very similar to Pnyklr's thread, mainly driver's side. I beleive that the top will stretch out over time, especially when exposed to heat/cold temp changes (mine is garaged every evening, and I run with top down almost 100% - including while garaged, so it is slowing the stretching process). Mine was late 2011 build (6/9 as I recall), so I will give it time to stretch before becoming concerned.

c) excessive wind noise from passenger rear at around 45-50+ MPH. I adjusted mirrors to see if the top billowed out at those speeds, but it doesn't. I put the passenger rear window down while driving at interstate speed and the noise level does not change much if at all. This is the only issue that I am "concerned" about, but will monitor it and perhaps as top stretches the noise will diminish.

2: How many of you do not have top problems?
Not certain yet ... the issues above many folks here would be very vocal over, but I am not yet convinced that there is a major issue yet.

3: How many have had their top replaced?
Not yet. Am waiting to determine if the issues above warrant a top change, and plan to delay putting a warranty claim in. If a new top is required, I'd rather do it next year or the year after to "extend" the life of the replacement and delay needing to replace the top in the future and on my own dime - unless I discover a leak or issue that is the root cause of the wind noise.

4: How many need to have their top replaced but haven't yet?
Uncertain at this time (see above).

5: What model year do you have?
2011 - 6//9 build date - approx 4500 miles, all but perhaps 200 or so with top down and still loving it.

Ok, birdie, it seems that I'm in;

1. Have the side rub above both doors
2. see 1
3. No replacement yet
4. Don't need it yet, but don't want it either.

Too bad because even though this is the wife's car (with the V-6 and I'm a power junkie), I'm actually really enjoying the car. The looks are very artistic and I can sit comfortably in it for hours of riding.

I guess I really like this car but they screw up the tops even after the 2011 :(

1: How many of you have top problems? Yes- 1"+ gap between top and truck and rub marks. Going in tomarrow for #5 brack to be replaced. 1st time top has been up since April so just noticed the rub marks. Not sure if full replacement will be performed.

2: How many of you do not have top problems? I wish

3: How many have had their top replaced?
No yet, but maybe

4: How many need to have their top replaced but haven't yet? unsure- at a minimum they will be removing to replace the #5 brace.

5: What model year do you have? Received 3/19/11

I also would like to get all my issues resolves before I put it way for the long MN winter.

I have to say I've been pretty disappointed with the top on my 2011. It now has 3500 miles and at 1900 miles there became a clearance problem between the left rear top rail and lift arm. The top rail was replaced by the dealer. Now the top has began to show rub marks on both sides and has a very noticeable although small protrusion near the right front. It is scheduled again to go back to the dealer. My 67 vert with it's nylon top is in reality superior to the new one. I'm afraid in a couple of years it's going to look pretty worn. Although not top related the radio has stopped working too. I kind of wish I had just ordered a coupe with a sunroof. Over time I think these tops are going to be very problematic.

Over time? Did you see the results of my pole so far? My 2012 got a new top over the last 3 days and I haven't even had it 2 months. This is a very poor design on a 40 thousand dollar car. If my percentages equate out to the entire build Chevy will be losing their shorts in warranty claims.
