I see these people whining about not getting picked up by GM and they ordered in October. You realize the date you ordered it has NOTHING to do with when your dealer can submit your order? If you have 2 dealers, and they both got 10 allocation, but dealer A takes 8 orders the first week of preorders, and dealer b takes his first order in january, than the person who ordered in January from dealer b will get pulled before the person who ordered in late october from dealer a.

That's just how it is. I was under the impression that many of us knew this back in October. I called 10 different dealers when I was ready to order in January, and found the one with the lowest sold orders to allocation ratio. So even though I ordered in late January, my order was pulled by mid March.

If, however, you were first at your dealer, didn't have any constraints from the getgo (CGM, V6, Hurst, etc), then it is most likely your dealers fault.

Love to give you all my order states but that does what? Proves your right in your logic? So. This is the internet, if I want to be pissed off about it, that's what this forum is for. I wasn't expecting to be the first car built cuz I pre-ordered or to get my car in April or May. What is getting me is...

...if some guy or gal just walked in to a dealership in Feb or March and get their orders pulled with Vin#s. I'm gonna get pissed off, it' human nature. Some of us need to vent, so let us. Go read some thread about some one getting their Vin# then and don't worry about this thread.

Whoa, lucky! Were you first at your dealership or do you have some good connections? I ordered on Valentine's Day and nothing's happened with mine yet. Of course, I was one of the later orders at my dealership.

I ordered 3/23, am now at 3000 (as of 3/30) according to my sales guy. Communication has been shotty, and the 800- number, keeps telling me that he does not see my order, and to call my dealer.
I do have the original Work Bench...

BTW, a local dealer in Los Angeles is claiming to be getting his Dealer Car this coming week. I am trying to confirm the date, and will post more info as soon as I get it...

This is like the third person I've heard ordered after the pre-order date of 3/16 and their orders were pulled before the pre-order people.... WTF!

He said in another thread that he had some connections... Dustin Pedroya's car is the only one ahead of him at that dealership... he jumped ahead of everyone else. The dealership didn't know how he pulled it off either.

I can't wait for it to come in because that's the closest early production car in my area.

Ordered Jan. 2 and got my VIN# march 26th
