It means the system hasn't recognized it. Give it a few days... System typically updates Thursday but you should have gone right to 110X. Odd, it has nothing to do with allocation. You should be ok... Just keep an eye on it...

I'm sorry to say that your source is wrong -- on a couple of fronts - there are more than 3,000 Chevrolet dealers - and the 1,500 is wrong as well.

None of this seems any different than when I tried to order my 2011 2SS to my taste in late Aug 2010. I had a deal on my trade-in cut along with the price of the car.

My particular small town dealer placed the order in the system. I had my order number and Becky D said it was at 1000 or 1100 whatever. I owed them a deposit when the order was accepted which was another number in the system. It was not accepted the first week and they said hold tight until September 1 when they get their monthly allocation.

They never got a September allocation and I went elsewhere

The rest of the story is that they left the order placed and the car did eventually arrive. (in December)

On another note: I think GM is playing serious games on the ZL1. Letting dealers place orders, holding off until later on the price announcement????? Who are they kidding? The price is going to be based on how many orders they get and such.

Priority one means youre going to be taken from your dealer in whatever order the orders were placed.

Typically everyone is priority 1 and they just go in order per dealer. The dealers can use this number to bump people ahead of others. Like my example of the cash buyer bumping #1 and 2... It rarely used bc frankly, it's shady but it's available to them if they want to expedite an order...

Say they mess up an order for an ss and need to reorder. If there are orders before this "mess up", they can bump it to the front using priority number.

Make sense?
