These numbers don't mean squat. Consider, Ford has been selling the crap out of Mustangs during the Camaro draught. Camaro owners are playing catch-up and will be for a couple more years. Check the sales in 2015.

Why do I never hear of how Ford has no answer to the Corvette. Just a question in my mind.

Generally speaking, bragging about a victory by default is kinda dickish. Whether its the Mustang vs the non-existent 2004 Camaro, or the Corvette against ... well, the only time it had a direct competitor from Ford was the first generation T-bird in the mid to late 1950's.

I'm surprised that Ford sells any Mustangs at all lately, due to the fact that the six speed MT82 Getrag transmission is failing on 2011/2012 models at an alarming rate. Lots of law suit and lemon law activity going on. It's unbelievable that to-date Ford is closed mouthed about it and refuses to admit that there is even a problem! Here is a random sampling of the problem experienced by many. I feel for those guys, spending big bucks for a car with a crappy transmission.

it will be interesting to see what ford, forbes, msn says about why ford is behind in sales, it seems like everytime i read best cars of 2010 or 2011 and 2012 if ford slips in anything they come up with a lame excuse as to why that is, maybe this time they will blame the truck drivers not getting to the dealer fast enough. Chevy all the way!

I think its a shame that this is happening, I don't think that anyone really wants anyone who buys a performance car to go through something like this.

Ford really needs to get their act together regarding the V-8 powered Mustang and manual transmission. I didn't buy into their excuse as to why they went with the Chinese company in the first place as I think it was purely a cost thing.

I think the fact that the Camaro looks the way it does, plus the fact that is was gone for 7 years, keeps it's sales high. It definitely is the best looking out of the 3 pony cars, even after 3 years of it's release. I'm glad it's selling well.
