Perfect, and saves me the effort. I've been meaning to get around to drawing up a Word document list of dos and don'ts for my dealer. Now I don't have to....and it looks so Official!!! Thanks, buddy!

I went with the PDI guy on his test drive.
He had to do the NYSI by law, but I stood right there with him.

I then took the car home with ALL the plastic on it. I prepped it myself.

Scotty, didn't you also post something about the build sheet too if it's in the car?

Scott, can you also share the PDI checklist with us, so we know what they are doing with our car?

The only things I'm saying yes to is "Notify me the day it arrives." and "Leave all plastic on the car."

I do not want them to fill it up since they do not have a on site gas pump. I do not want them to wash the car, I'll be doing that anyway in prep for the polishing. And I do not want them to do the PDI UNTIL I'm there, I will be standing beside them when they do it.

Is this a normal practice for some dealerships? Why would they do this at all?

Pretty much they make sure all fluids are full, everything works correctly, and even take it on a short test drive at highway speeds to make sure it runs, cruise control works and all instruments work correctly.
