You dont have a friend or family member that could help with a vehicle loaner until you can get your SS sold?
Selling your SS to a private party will always be best bang for your buck!

Sell it for the 28k you were offered get a pick up a beater for a grand save the money you would normally be paying for the car payment. win win keep the zl1 as a daily unless bad weather drive the beater.

I have your trade in between NADA and KBB to be right about $28,680
and retail to be $31,181.
So you are taking at least 3 grand or more up the keester for trading in.

I find that hard to believe, considering i got 22k out of a 30k+ mile 2010 2lt/rs at carmax (local dealer offered me 18k 2 months prior)- try getting a qoute from carmax etc- they often pay muc better than a dealer.

If you live 1/4 mile to work do you have the option of selling your ss and walk or ride a bike to work once it's sold until you get the new car ? Just a thought

Carmax usually does give a better deal if you are trading towards one of the cars. I do not seem them having a ZL1 anytime soon.

I didnt buy from them, and still got a better deal. They buy cars outright with no purchases required.

they actually appraised my car at 23 which means my 1ss/rs lost 12,000 dollars in elevan months... they can go fly a kite... also they said it being an rs package it didnt increase the value of the car which is not right at all they were just trying to scam me... im going to speak to the GM there tomotow and discuss my expirence there
