Ze police officer gave Pepe a written warning for no front License plate. Pepe was not very happy but he refuses to drill his buttercup.

My front plate is in my glove box. In September after I tinted my headlights, fog lights and turn signals blue, a local LEO got a good look at the front of my car as I was slowly moving through an intersection and I figured if I was going to get nailed, this would be the time. He didn't bother with me. Also I got my state inspection in August without it.

I am in TX and no front plate for me...it is in the glovebox! Never been an issue...I am wondering though....I have my first state inspection next month? Will see how that goes.

This really makes me think after seeing all of these posts... I'm in Ontario and its mandatory. However I think ill get the electonic Show N' Go plate. I'll keep it hidden and if pulled over, "oops sorry i must have forgotten to flip the plate up before i left the house, or the button didnt work!"

I live in LA and we dont need em, but I would totally buy that automatic retractable one, and if I ever see a cop just flip the switch. And hit the button hen you park too.

Keeps you from getting a ticket and you car doenst have to look dumb all the time

I got a ticket for no front plate in CA in the past. I was told by the cop they were focusing on front plates because they are needed for red light violation cameras.

I bought my Camaro used. Anyone know how to remove the bracket if already installed? The mounting screws are not standard. I'd rather see the holes in the bumper than the bracket.
