first off it will most likely be done by a glass shop but at your dealers location. They do it all the time. Being a Camaro doesn't make it different than other windshield swaps. Just do a quick check for scratches or chipped paint. If it leaks then they will re do it. No big deal

STRESSED OUT! Today is the day, as much as I want to watch them do it, I am glad I am at work. I did look at the Windshield this monring and confirmed it is the OEM glass.
And my loaner car, a Colorado pickup, wtf, LOL! What a dog to drive. |

Windshield done, everything looks great!! Starling Chevy in Kissimmee handled the process from beginning to end flawlessly.
Will let it settle well for the next 24 hours then seal with some Adams glass sealant. Thanks everyone for the support & advice, I needed it! Last edited by nyrfan; 01-06-2012 at 06:31 PM. |
