I'm right there with you. I average 16-17 with about 50/50 hwy city driving. I would be ecstatic with 20 mpg.

I want to keep my warranty for at least a little bit so if anything goes wrong in the early miles of the engine, I wont have to pay for it. But I dont want to wait a few years for the warranty to run out, so I made 30k miles the point where I can start adding mods that void my powertrain.

Ha, Pahaska IS where my username comes from! Nobody has ever realized that before lol. Story behind that is some lady told me that Pahaska spelled its own name wrong, because she thought it was named after some podunk town in Pennsylvania or something and she wouldn't listen to me when I told her it was a sioux indian name given to Buffalo Bill's lodge at Pahaska. Right now, I'm in Laramie though, but since the snow here isnt better, I'm on Perelli Scorpions. This car actually works extremely well in the snow. And the low center of gravity makes driving on ice a lot less dangerous.

This is true. I'm not sure why I said "cams"

I drove my heavily modded (Entire engine, drivetrain, etc) Camaro 600 miles back home after picking it up from Lingenfelter. Average speed was around 70 mph and mileage was about 25 or 26 mph. And I got into it a few times, but nothing dragstrip-like.

You'll only get this kind of mileage on a long stretch of highway with little to no city driving.

I have an auto with 17k and get 15.4 mpg mixed. My mileage actually dropped 2 gallons.
