I use amazing goop from the local parts store. It holds them in there and its clear so you cant see the glue. Just got done doing a foglight set about 20 mins ago.

Funny how I was talking about this the other day.....I must sound like a Meth Head to my friends.

....always looking for used ovens on Craigslist and whatnot. One can always use a third Kenmore in the shop.

It really isn't a hard install, it's just intimidating. Have you ever been cliff diving? It's like that. Looking off the cliff into the water can scare the pants off you, but once you dive off once you see how easy it is (not to mention fun)

I disconnected mine, but I've also helped people install them so that the OEM halo still works

I didn't know there was a way to keep the function of the factory halos since the instructions said the ring needed to be cut...nor did I care since these were just brighter and better. I didn't imagine going back to stock. Still don't.

I think that cutting that top piece off was optional. I was just thinking that it may look funny with the factory one still connected. I agree that the AAC ones are going to be a lot brighter so I will prob disconnect mine. Not really wanting to cut that part off if I do t have to.

I ordered my 2.0 color shift halos today by the way. Can't wait now to get them. Thanks again Jonathan.

I used the factory halo, I cut the bottom portion off so that the lights look factory when the halos are off. Basically what it shows in the how to video.

It had to be cut to put the factory ring over the new halos. If you don't want to do that, either mount them without the factory halo ring or ask someone how they did it. Probably Steiger.

Oops. Just noticed he posted how to.

Thanks for the good customer service AAC. Just out of curiosity do you guys over at AAC leave the factory Halo in tact, or do you cut them like on the video?
