Great story.. See us New Yorkers aren't all that unfriendly.

That tank is awesome! Has it been in any shows? I have Marvin the Martian painted on my Honda Shadow, but the detail isn't has good as yours. I was told by a co-worker that I better not get Marvin painted on my 2011 Street glide.

Question for you Harley guys/gals.

I see a lot of trucks/vans/cars with Harley decals on them (bumper or window), but I never see a Harley with a Ford/Chevy decal on them. Are you embarrased when you are not on your bike, or are you embarrased of your car/truck when on your bike. Seem like some discrimination.

Ditto. I ride as well and my Harley collected a lot of dust this last summer since buying the Camaro. Maybe next summer (that is what I have promised the bike) she will see more road time. I'd be surprised if there isn't a LOT of Camaro and Harley owners on here due to the similarities in the souls of the vehicles. Oh and AngelSpeedFreak, laying your stock Camaro Airbox up against the Harley is just taunting the bike to jack with you on the next ride

I won't put a HD sticker on my vehicle. I ride because I love the freedom and I don't need to advertise what brand I chose to ride. I chose HD because it's crude raw long stroke bone shaking feedback is what a bike means to me. And I would never put a bowtie sticker on my bike

The poster was asking why we don't put Chevy stickers on our Harleys, tongue in cheek I would hope. I don't think I've seen any stickers on any Harleys I've seen. Now the helmet is a different story!!

Yeah, I don't have a helmet on 99% of the time so I guess I could just put a bowtie sticker on the back of my head And I have to admit, I laugh whenever I see a vehicle with a HD sticker on it.

I hated helmets with a passion until I got ran over by a drunk driver and lost my left leg. The helmet was destroyed, but actually probably saved me from having my wife to take care of a vegetable. And I've been riding for 25 years.

I was about to start entering bike shows until I got ran over and lost leg. Can't stand around all day no more. The totalled 2004 Duece bike looked just like this. This is the new version 2003 Duece uses newly painted fender (Other one destroyed) and repaired tank and rear fender. And do what ever you want on your own bike- custom paint jobs make it stand out from the crowd. Here are a few other pics:

Dang! I really should wear a helmet. I mean I never drive a car without the seatbelt and never a racecar without protective clothing and a helmet so I don't know why I don't strap on a lid on the bike unless it is really cold out for warmth. Maybe this spring I will just keep wearing the helmet into summer and get used to it and make it habit. Sorry for the

My time spent in the military(retired AF 2009) and helmet laws in the States I ride I always have one on.

Sorry about the accident. That is a very cool theme and great paint job. I got a kick when I saw the burning windmill from the Frankenstein movie, LOL. Yes I'm sure after a while I will do something.

Sorry OP for going off topic.
