Finally got my Windows tinted.
I went to Eastern Glass in Charlestown, MA.
They installed the Llumar ATX film. IMO it looks great, just dark enough and just enough reflection.
Since the Windows already are at 70% tint I had them put 40% on the driver, and passenger windows. (Trying to stay close to legal) They went a bit darker on the quarter windows and rear window.
Almost perfect job, the only "problem" I see is a small scratch in the passenger side window tint. It's right up by the very front of the window, so you can't see it unless you are really looking. I didn't notice it for a few days, and it doesn't bother me enough to bring it back.

I say Bring it back! if you can see it now and its noticable do it as soon as you can so they'll retint that window right and not say that you did that on your own n such... i had a stereo shop do that to me when i first got a car sucked and eventually ended up ripping the tint off the window from goin up n down in the window channel.... now i dont waste my time or money with the guys that dont do this everyday i go right to sonny's in saugus ... have done my last 5 cars and they are about to get a call for an appt on my car this afternoon...

Sorry, but I've always wondered why people tint there windows?

a. the look factor b. once you get it done you'll never want to have another car without ... it keeps the sun glare down .. park it in the sun and it will be noticably cooler getting in a car with tints... and c. the privacy factor ..ppl with cars like us usually have toys in gadgets in the car and they arent always put away 100% or any of the time the tint helps with that saying out of sight out of mind bcuz you usually have to look through the tint(shielding the sun or street light) to see in the car

The interior temps after sitting in the sun are noticeably lower in my car after the tints.
It still gets warm, but doesn't bake.

I think the real question is why wouldn't you tint the car! Just had mine done last week from Solar Solutions in Bedford, 3m Carbon film, lifetime warranty, and only $150!

Had mine done in east Windsor ct by mister tint.
It came out excellent the second time.west Springfield mass
did the job the first time and the tint pealed the same day.
