I do not post too often on C5 as a new member but your posts drive me crazy! You just need to take a breath, stop with all the assumptions and accusations and find out if your dealer wants to do business with you. If not just get your $4,000 back and find another dealer.
I dont get my info from anywhere but here... so when I see someone say something like "if your still at 1100 your dealer doesnt have an allocation for you" so I naturally panic... and finally he called me back and told me that everything is fine and stop listing to some posts on here and making assumptions with out facts... :/

I plan on calling my dealer, but does anyone have any idea why an order would go from 1102 to 2030 if I have not made any changes??

It's all internal and done by GM. Nothing to worry about,
they are probably just looking to see what's out there for
order

Still at 2030 and my dealer sent me a snapshot that showed me his production guide numbers sorp throught june 2012 were 4 for the 2012 ZL1 coupe. Just nt sure why I have not moved. But I will be patient.

Actually it is @ 1100,

The 2030 is an edit only view for Chevrolet.

It will only move to 3000,
when the dealer has available allocation,
to place the order.

Look at the 2nd post in this thread.....

I believe and truly believe that if you have not moved from 1100 as of yet... its not plausible your dealer has an allocation... my dealer wont even show me proof of his allocation....

I see a lot of rambling on here about allocation.

IF YOU ARE PAST 1100 and in the 2xxx YOU GOT AN ALLOCATION!

It is out of your dealers hands now. GM will build them when they get to it. Just chill out and enjoy the ride.

There is that positive outlook we have all grown to love. I am sure there are a lot of us in the same boat. GM will eventually pick us up.

Drake is right and they may or may NOT pick you up for a 2012. If youre still at 1100, I'd be worried. Sorry.

Its not a negative outlook, its a very plausible case. GM is only building so many 2012 bc its a half year build out. They released the number of ZL1s to the dealers for 2012 TOTAL BUILD OUT last November. If your dealer sold more than they got, you my friend are more than likely SOL.

That order may or may not carry to a 2013. I'd be calling and asking questions instead of just having faith that they will build it. YES, they will if the dealer didnt screw up and take an unallocated order...

I am not sure how accurate this is, but my dealer just called me saying he just got off the phone with GM. He said that GM picked up this first batch of ZL1 allocations and once they are finished with the production of them, they will start picking up more ZL1 allocations. If this is true, it appears I am in for a little bit of a wait.
