I ditched the 15k mile treadlife factory run flats on my wife's BMW and went with Protenza All Seasons that should run 40k miles. On the road and in the twisties they grip great. Soft PZero type tire is great but the All Seasons slip a little more which is great for Camaro burnouts and cost alot less

There are NO 18" replacements for LS/LT listed on TR or DTD yet, and for the 19" size there is only ONE listed on TR (as of 3/29/09, last time I checked).

At this same time I checked the 20's and you guys have plenty of choices. Want something reasonably priced with a reasonable treadwear rating AND All Season ??

The Yokohama Parada Spec-X is a "V" Speed rated (149 MPH) Street/Sport Truck All-Season that has a high 420 treadwear rating with "A" Temp & Traction ratings.

275/40VR20 ... $144.00 Each
245/45VR20 ... $149.00 Each

Now if you think a Street/Sport Truck tire should not be put on a 2010 Camaro, maybe you should READ the specs on this tire on the Tire-Rack web site ...

"The PARADA Spec-X is Yokohama Tire's Street/Sport Truck All-Season radial developed for performance pickups and SUVs as well as modern muscle cars ..."

... only down side is it's speed rating is 6 MPH less than the built-in 155 MPH speed limiter. If you really think this is an issue for you, well then you better stay with the super-fast wearing $1,668.00 per set Pirelli PZero's ... your tire dealer will certainly appreciate your generosity !!

Doug
Ya beat me to it! Yep, I'll be rocking Parada spec-X's when my pirelli's die...

I don't know about the LT or LS, but the SS has different width tire on the back than it does on the front, and the tires are directional, so rotating them is out of the question.

I've noticed that tire prices are up there! I think.... when I get mine I'm gonna do aftermarket wheels and I'm gonna get all four 20 x 9. I think it will be an advantage having them all be the same size cause a lot of places that sell tires give deals on a set of 4.
