That car would have been stickered a $39K ish car brand new. There were options like polished wheels, painted engine cover, and car cover that could affect the final price by a around $1k. Camaro's came pretty much loaded from the factory when you got the RS package. Seeing that most dealerships were asking sticker price and not dealing much, i'd expect it to have gone for around $39K. That being said, $30k is more than i'd pay for one that could be 2.5yrs old (they started making '10's in early '09). It's not a horrible price but it is on the high side, even for a low mileage car. I'd offer $25k and deal from there. It also depends on the availablity in your area. Some areas have LOTS of them sitting on the lot while other areas have few.
You might want to check with Cincyspeed to see if they have a lead on one. They do a lot of work on Camaros and should know of a few that might have some aftermarket mods you might like.

30k out the door might actually be pretty good, IDK what taxed are in Ohio. I was thinking you meant 30k plus tax, tag, and title.
The 2SS/RS come automatically with all the bells and whistles. Except for stripes, sunroof, GFX, just about everything else came with the car.

Ordered my IOM A6 2SS/RS in Nov 2009, picked it up in Jan 2010, sticker $39,500.00 paid $37,000 through USAA buyer program. Still loving it! Some dealers at the time were selling the car for 2K to 3K over the sticker price.

30k out the door is a smoking deal, specially from a dealer. I just bought a 2011 2SS/RS IOM with IOM intetior. 5k miles, immaculate and I got it for $31,400 out the door.

Remember alot of people on here are showing you what they paid without tax title and license. If that is the case then you only paid around $27k for that car... And myself $28k for mine. That's over $10k less than new.

Traded my 2010 2ss with auto, rear sensors, 1600 miles, polished wheeels, rs package on it for 29,500. Sounds fair to me. Remember prices vary by market state to state. Good Luck

KBB says 33,800 from a dealer is ok.
31,900 from a private party is about right. You might want to put the info in that site yourself. You know more about the car than I do (obviously). |

Different states must use different guidelines for finding resale values because every bank and dealership I have ever dealt with here in NY use NADA guidelines and the resale value on a 2010 three months ago when I was buying my Camaro was $35,300 without upgrades .
