I will be upgrading when funds allow. Right now I am bummed at the poor and buggy stock ipod interface. Now to pick the best all around reasonably priced head unit.....

Scosche, I'm disappointed. Yes you made a product that's innovative and creative, but right now the quality is lacking. I'd recommend getting those issues taken care of pretty quickly.

Sounds like they still have some bugs to work out. Hope they do it soon since my Metra display is going bad.

It looks like there was still a lot of plastic molding flash on edges. Perhaps cleaning that up would improve the fitment?

Another less than perfect kit IMHO. If GM would get it together with a standard DDIN stereo we wouldn't need to deal with these issues.

Seems I might just have a bum unit. The volume did work for a few minutes but the whole scosche kit went dead about 45 mins later. Send it back for replacement.

Dang guys that isn't what I wanted to hear. It takes to much work to install the kit, I can't believe you would have to take it back out. How soon are they going to ship you a replacement?

I have one on order, I may just hold on to it and not install it after what you guys responded.

Yes it does take a bit of work. I have had to remove this unit 3 times already and now I have to wait for a replacement. I hope to get the email with return label sooner than later.

Agree....Does the Metra Have onstar, still beat the Stock

Your onstar works fine with a metra its just the lcd backlights keep going out!
