Doing the same in December, when dealers are hungry.

My v6 is a damn fine car though, the reason I'm upgrading is because I like it so much, if that makes any sense.

I just don't get it...even an op who bought a different car, and several others in the thread who said they have, or would like to do the same, have their threads in jeopardy of being closed by others who just can't leave them alone?

I STILL cannot justify $8k~$10k for a car with only two more cylinders than what I have, but then again.....it's your money, do with it what you will, what ever makes you happy.
When I find myself next to a V8 I dont feel inferior or any less of a man(cars dont do that for me) instead I admire it as a Camaro and it's styling.
The days of "outdoing the Jonses" is way behind me.

Cool... I personally don't care what other people drive because I'm not the one that's driving it or paying for it. I ran into a few v6 camaros, mustangs and always talk to owners with respect and never looked down on what they have cus at the end of the day I'M driving what I want and what the other person is driving that's his own thing not my concern...

Most true American muscle cars were developed with a V8, why would anyone buy a new muscle car with anything less?

I love my V6 to death.

I am however upgrading.

Have a 2SS/RS L99 on order

I cannot wait.

Congrats to you my friend! You will enjoy the upgrade, but remember where you came from (respect V6 owners since you were one)!

Ha, ha! Yep, this is another aspect to prove the unforeseen rash, craziness of my actions, I admit (but don't regret nonetheless).
Only about six weeks or so ago I drove up to the western Cleveland area from the southern Cincy area in my wife's SUV to buy a nice set (18" Moda wheels and Pirelli Scorpions with almost no miles on them) of snow wheels/tires from Hollywood2010 (good guy and good deal)!
Put them on my 2011 1LT RS the next day myself, which is not easy when all you have is a floor jack. Naturally, having gone thru all that effort and expense we haven't had any snow since then... and I end up trading that car in on the 2SS RS a month and a half later (changed the tires/wheels back to the stockers for the trade).
