I'm hoping its just the remote. When I hook it up the lights do go on. I have the amber & white combo. Now that have my AAC color shift 2.0 halos and the LED sidemarkers I think my scanner light working will be that final touch I need.

On an off topic note, on the general discussion forum there is a thread "Pay it forward" I have 2 of the front grill SS's that I'm not using. One is stock color red the other I stripped clean (I was intending on painting it IOM). If anyone is in need of one of these please let me know. I have put these on that thread and no one claimed yet.

I don't fault the guy, but just curious what the deal is.

I gave up on him and I ordered a Dynamic scanner from AAC when my Knight finally goes out. Would not deal with Knight again just on the basis of not providing customer service. He could have atleast come on here and said something!!!!!! Hate to say no matter how bad the hard ship.

Idk if this is the guy everyone is talking about but I was looking to buy a light myself today and I saw this link (below) and then I saw this thread so I thought I'd post.
http://www.camaro-scanners.co.uk/products.asp
NOTE: Shipping of lights is on pause at the moment. The website hasn't been accepting orders for a couple of months. We use a production company for assemby, they have moved offices and getting geared up again for production, we havn't received lights from them for some time. I run Knightlight by myself. There isn't profit in the lights to employ anyone to help out, so I am on my own with sorting out issues. With 1800 emails in a couple of months, there are a fair few to get though as I have been away from emails since the beginning of November. I will try to get though the emails as soon as possible.

Knightlight have developed a light to fit in the mail slot of the Camaro SS. The 5th Gen Camaro is an awesome looking car, just owning this car shows you like to stand out. With this Knight Rider scanning effect light you can stand out more, being individual. The light will fit in the mail slot on the Camaro SS (black slot between the hood and the grill). No body work modifications, the last thing you want to do is cut parts of your camaro away, so we have developed a light where you dont have to. It is made using 64 LED's and each LED is controlled by the controller, this creates a smooth movements, not done in blocks of LED's making only 8 segments.

Well I have also given up on him. I did send him an email telling him we all would appreciate him posting on here. I did get one from him saying he was working on a fix for me, do i believe him f*ck no. Excuse my language. Can someone tell me about the dynamic scanner from AAC? Do you still need to make small cuts on the slot?

You do have to cut two small slits in the side of the mail slot area. However from what I have been told if you decide to one day put the OEM mail slot piece back it wont be seen or if Knight Rider Dan makes a come back then wont be seen with his product either. My Knight Uk still working at times but has occ LED's that will stay on. Dan used to post to Camaro 5 when wanting business. Seems like we are not that important anymore. He could at least come here and make a formal post. I have emailed several times with no response.

His last email to me was on Jan 31st. Telling me he was going to work in my problem ASAP. No word since. I have the color shift 2.0 Halo's isn't there a scanner from AAC I can wire into my Halo's and it would be same color as them?

Yes you can wire the AAC scanner RGB in with Halo if you wanted to. However will all be the same. I would rather have the option of the scanner light to maybe be different.
