I went from outside to garage, in my case I just had to move furniture out of the 2 car unit. I sleep better at night, and I trust my neighbors.

Parking outside an apartment complex would be like leaving your car at walmart parking lot every day IMHO. If it's the only choice, it's still better then no camaro. But you do have a choice.

go for the garage at 75.00 not bad i pay 140.00 for a storage unit but i have other things in there cause i have no garage 10x30 2 motorcycles and furniture lol

It never hurts to have the vehicle in a safe, locked location. I wish I could get a 2nd. parking spot for $75 p/mos. Here it's about $100-150p/mos. depending on availability.
