I take two bc I live at a hotel and most of the people who stay there work on the oil rigs. They get drunk most nights and it only takes one idiot to throw his door into your car not paying attention. I finally took one spot a couple of months after I got the car and of course I get a scratch... so 5 months of taking two spot and not one scratch, dent ect... 1 day of taking one spot I get a scratch on my door.

only one for me...away from the crowd. i use to park in two until i heard they can ticket or tow your vehicle for it. not sure how true it is, but i don't wanna find out. my wife went to the grocery store on base a while after we got our camaro and she went out of her way to park on the outter side of the lot where noone parks. she parked diagonally opposite direction of the lines. When she comes out of the store, there is another vehicle parked next to ours, so close that she couldn't get into our car. The parking lot is pretty much empty so they could've parked anywhere, but this guy purposely parks next to our car the exact same way we parked. when the guy comes out of the store, my wife lets him know she can't get into her car because he parked so close. The guy just says "you parked crooked". but he parked the same way just to be an ass. i don't mind people taking more than one spot as long as they aren't doing it in the middle of the lot when it's crowded. If you go out your way to park by yourself in a empty lot where noone parks, your not taking any spots from anyone.

BFE for me. One space, up against a curb if possible, and at work I have access to the best parking spot ever:

One spot. It's a Camaro and not some ultra rare exotic. It's gonna get dinged here and there if its driven regularly.

I mean let's be serious; if you double park your car the odds of getting keyed just went up 10 fold

I have to say, I'm worried about even parking out in the boonies. I've seen plenty of Camaro owners showing pics of intentional jealous lust hurting their cars.

When you take up more than one parking place you're just asking for trouble. People will intentionally mess with your car just for taking up more than 1 spot.

If you do it, stop.

Just take up 1 spot up against a curb leaving the car next to you plenty of room. My car is coming up on 3 years old (daily driver) with 0 door dings using this method.

The last car I saw parked taking up 2 spaces had food/drinks thrown all over it.

Just one unless I am WAY out in the back of a parking lot and it wouldn't bother anyone to take as many as I please...

Girlfriend and I went to the Houston Auto Show yesterday and some jackhole in a G35 had taken 3 spots up front and there were families driving around everywhere looking for a spot to park

one. Dont want someone to feel I'm a arrogant jerk and key the car....just having a nice car out seems to motivate the destructive punks to vandalize.
