DaFlash.......just sent you a PM......oh and btw.....lets make it OFFICIAL.....

CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

LOL... let me also clear something else up that got folks feathers ruffled... There is a car Forum in Houston called H-Town Racing (most people just refer to them as H-Town) and yes they are a bit on the rough side and allow some things that aren't appropriate here.

What was referred to in this thread is the "H-Town Camaro Club" and we basically modeled our rules after Camaro5. Most of our members are also on C5 and conduct themselves in the same maner as folks do here.

Two different Houston sites. We would love to have you come visit our site anytime. www.h-towncamaroclub.com

Here's a thought. People can put anything they want about anyone on the net but it doesn't make it true. So come out and see the dozens and dozens of cars ARD has built and talk to the people that own them and ask them questions about their real life experience. We have meetings and get togethers all the time so you have all kinds of opportunities to talk to people. And just for the record many of our HTown members have had work done by different shops so you should ask them how they feel about the shop they went to. At least this way you actually know who is claiming what.

Chuck Anders is fantastic....period. Haters will always Hate....you can't deny his knowledge of how LS cars are tuned and what it takes to make them run better.

Erik at HKE, Andy at ADM, and Steven at EG (built our 429ci car) are a couple of shops Id recommend as well.

Excellent service and professionalism from them.

Another good one here in the area is Power Fab... off of 1960 near where Fastlane used to be... They have a very good tuner there...

Thanks guys for the info. That's why I really wanted this thread to be. To help more new comers like myself and others on this forum. I really don't like to get down and dirty with words. I find it childish and a wast of time. I deal that that nonsense at work. If ya have any more suggestions or recommendation place them on the forum or send me a pm.

Glad we could help... I've had my cars in quite a few different shops around here... I think we have covered the main ones... Let me know what part of Houston you are in and maybe there is something close to you.

Sort of in the same boat as I am... with a 40 min drive or so. As I said before England Green is a good one and they are South Central or Power Fab off of 1960... Power Fab has a decent Facebook page too.. England Green worked very closely with Vararam on these cars in the beginning and they were at Cars and Coffee recently with an LS9 in a 1st Gen. In fact Cars and Coffee is this Saturday...

Anything down the League City/Webster way? It's not like ARD is too far away for good, quality work. Just wondering. Thanks!
