I am 40 and here are my daily car choices: 2011 Camaro SS Supercharged. 2011 Jeep Wrangler 4 door sport, 1957 Buick Estate Wagon with a cammed nailhead. (I also have my old man Escalade ESV for hauling the kids around if it makes her feel better!)

I guess she would tell me I am acting my shoe size and not my age, eh?

eh who cares. that stigma exists because older Camaro's are really popular for the young to buy. young people can't really afford brand new Camaro's but there are plenty of old ones kicking around and they are a cheap, great looking muscle car they can actually afford.

I would guess the average age of 5th gen Camaro owners is much older than the early twenties like your coworker is assuming. just let it roll off your back. I've been in love with Camaro's since I could see and that's never going to change.

Go back to ur minivan and drink another beer cuz you drink like a fish but thats good for ur kids I grew up helping my dad and bro rebuild cars and street rods. Its in my blood. I remember that story. You should of just said "well, I'm just not really a mini van person". She would be up all night trying to figure out what you meant by that.

Since she doesn't seem to mind stereotyping, you should have told her that there are some coffee cups in the break room that need washing.

haha I wish I was driving a Camaro through highschool and college. My 1994 Chrysler Lebaron was all I was affording! I'm 29 next month, am I getting too old too? At least I can sell mine before I'm an old timer I guess.

Funny how if you're in HS or College someone will tell you you don't deserve such a powerful car. At 30-40 I guess you're too responsible to be riding in this fun thing. And over that you're trying to relive your glory days.

...theres always someone to complain about what you're doing. Just enjoy what you like.

I swear I lose 20 years and 20 lbs everytime I get
behind the wheel which would then put me in your
age bracket

Srsly I think the median age is closer to 50 anyway -

Ignore her
