God Bless ya!

thank you for your concern!

When I say "come out of the building late and feeling 'kicked' " -- I mean that it's not much fun right now.....

Everyone's taking their shots at GM and Ford and Chrysler....and everyone on TV and in the Government and in the print media seem to be 'experts' even though they've never run a paper bag store let alone a manufacturing and marketing company --

The pressure is great right now -- with less people doing substantially more work --

........BUT -- I think just about everyone's facing the 'less people/more work' issue these days..........

.......so yes, you feel a bit 'kicked around' -- and perhaps a bit crazy.....

............but all I have to do is click that remote key fob -- and watch Thor 'come alive' and flash his lights at me............

.......and it makes it a lot better..................

AS to job security?

I think that anyone who feels their job is secure these days is simply being delusional.......

I DO appreciate your concern!

Thanks for the great stories!

That's great to know! Just keep doin what you do and I think things will work out in the end..... I don't think many people will enjoy the process of getting to that end, but I think the end will yield a stronger, better GM that EVERYONE will like.

Picked up my 2SS/RS on Wednesday and since it was running a bit late we pulled in to the McDonalds drive thru to get a quick bite so I could get her home!

We drive through the lot and get a couple looks, but nothing too bad really. The line for the drive thru is about 6 cars deep so we are sticking out on the corner of the drive thru lane...by the time we got to the window to pick up our food I'm fairly confident in saying the entire dining area had emptied out on the drive thru side to look at the car! People yelling "it's a Camaro" and "Damn...look at that thing" and "I love your car" and so many other things!

Even the drive home was cars passing us with thumbs up and honking their horns!

It's been 3 days now since we got her and I can't park anywhere for anything without talking to people about the Camaro! I feel like a rock star!

It's been everything I ever could have imagined and more (and not talking about the attention...I'm talking about Camaro!)!!

I have a sort of scary story:

I was driving home last night in my silver 2LT RS when I stopped at the stop sign and the other driver was waving met to go. I was about a 1/2 mile away from my house. When I pulled into my driveway, that driver (he looked to be in his early 20's) stopped at my house and was asking about the price and where I got it.

He drove a 1/2 mile out of his way to follow me home to ask me about my car!

Sometimes I do not mind the attention, like when every mustang drive must slow down and turn their heads when I go by!

i got to test drive a black 2ss (automatic) a couple of weeks ago and i noticed it after awhile and it drove me nuts!! the dealer said he hadn't heard it, but hadn't driven it yet. it seemed like it was something that was specific to that car, being as how it was so specifically located. sounded like the suspension just needed to be better lubricated.

i might order mine next week, but this is my only concern
Must have been that car, I haven't heard any thing. Order man, you will love it.

Went to Sonic with my son. Girl confirms our order and then also says "OH, and your
car is totally HOT!!! As we pulled up to the pickup window every worker that could was
pressing their faces up to the window. This car is amazing.

just saw my first one in person

My dealer had one come in I drove to c it too bad it was not mine but .... I hav to say GM out did themselves. Very sexy and tough i was very impressed at the stance of car the solidness it gave off and the quality. I own a 1971 camaro and u know that thing is under u and with this car also its buildt and even though i didnt get to get compfy in it i was amazed at it. i will now have one grype and thats the exhaust . Very dissappointed in that aspect not alot of rumble or anything at idle . was suprised quite frankly that this was not thought thru more . U have all this car and no sound. well thats my perception on it and i cant c anyone being not happy was way more than I expected so thats all for now till i get my own which said to b this month perhaps wait wait wait

First off the interior is awesome, I have no gripes what so ever other than it would have been nice to have the ABL across the dash. This car is like no other Camaro I have ever driven (this is my 5th f-body, 2 3rds and 2 4ths). I would compare this car to my buddies G35 in terms of comfort and ride quality. I haven't really got on it yet but the little bit of it I have done has been impressive. The car doesn't "feel" as fast as you think but you look down at the speed and you're moving. Another great feature that I have grown to love is the digital speedo in the DIC. I see no reason for HUD. I would describe this car as a cross between a vette and GTO, both are high quality cars and the Camaro bridges the gap between sports car and GT.

The best thing about this car is the attention it gets. Like I said I have owned this car for around 15 hours and people flock to it. If you don't have many friends then this car is your answer. On the test drive alone it almost caused on accident and a guy in a suburban refused to go ahead of me at a stop sign. My saleman told me 20 people wanted to buy the car for the one day it sat in the service entrance. I am impressed with this car and it has surpassed my expectations. I would reccommend it to anyone. This car should be a good volume seller and will definantly get people into the dealerships. It will help GM in this tough time. Don't plan on sleeping for a couple days when your Camaro comes in!
I agree with everything said here... I know I said I would do a write up when I got mine, but does it count if I just say I agree with what he said?

And I love the attention too... I park mine pretty far out in the parking lot at work so I can see it from my desk, and at least 15-20 people daily drive up to it and just stop and stare and take pictures. I cant get out of my car anywhere without having to answer a million questions about it. Most people don't even know that these cars exist yet! I love it!!
