5 when I wanted it. I use to play with my cousins and my bike was always a camaro lol. Got my first one (a 3rd gen) at 18. Got my 5th gen at 29 though.

the IROC-Z's was the model that really cemented my interest, though I always loved the 69

Wanted the 5th gen when the 4th gen stopped production in August of 2002. When the concept appeared around 2005-2006, then I knew I had to have one eventually. I waited until the end of 2010 and purchased one in December.

When I was five years old, one of the neighbors had a brand new 1986 Camaro, white with black stripes. He was behind us at a stop light one day, and I looked out the back window and waved at him. I asked my dad what kind of car that was, because I thought it was SOOO cool looking. He told me it was a Camaro. Wanted one ever since, but could never make it work out back when I came of driving age because I was saving for college. When I finished college and went to buy a 4th gen, the dealer apologized and told me they had been discontinued over a year before that.
So, when the 5th gens came out, I knew it was time. Got my 2011 LS at age 29. I'm almost 31 now, and I still grin ear to ear every time I get behind the wheel to go somewhere. |

I first saw the 5th gen when i was 15 in the transformers movie and made it a point to get it in the near future. Now im 19 and just bought her two weeks ago
 4 very very verrrry long years but def worth the wait!!!

Not what I thought we were talking about.
I was 16 when I got my 3rd gen, 22 I got a 4th gen firebird, 26 an 08 Silverado, and 29 I finally got one of my dream cars the 5th gen and wanted it since I first seen the concept.
