All opinions welcomed.
Seriously, the fact that you are 71 and you are even on this website should answer your own question. Your only as old as you feel and you my friend are not old. Almost everyone I know that is over 65 wouldn't even know how to start up internet explorer. Good for you, buy your car and don't worry about the "younger" crowd.

"Mom" Settlemire -- I'd tell you how old she is, but then she'd probably ground me until I'm 84....

whoops......

Anyway -- she drives a 2002 Camaro with T-tops -- Red/Silver stripes and
35th Anniversary Badges with "ES" (her initials) rather than SS (MY initials...)

I'm ordering her an IOM 2LT/RS --

......I WAS concerned about visibility for her -- and suggested that perhaps she'd be happier with a CTS or perhaps an Impala SS.

She retorted: "THOSE are OLD LADY cars!!!!

far may it be for me to upset her..........

YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD FOR A CAMARO!!!

Life is way too short to worry about age. Try to enjoy every minute of it. Like driving a brand new Camaro.

Alternatives??

You could always buy a minivan or a Suburban or an Expedtition. LOL. In my family I have all three----not one person in the family knows about my pre-ordered 2SS. I can guarantee all of them will be jealous as hell when the SS comes in!. I can't imagine anyone would be surprised since I've had Camaro's my whole life. They will be though, I think most people are expecting me to buy a Toyota Yaris. LOL
