Mods make a world of difference!

I was leaning towards cosmetic after I did the lenses and blacked out bow ties with dark tint immediately after I drove off the lot...

....then I found out what power mods do the ride and enjoyment level. Needless to say, from this day forward appearance mods will be on the back burner for a bit.

I think it has something to do with being married.. lol. It is more about me having fun/power than eye popping with cosmetic upgrades because who cares if the wife thinks the car looks good or not... Honestly, it is a bit of a sleeper if mine looks stock (minus the lowered stance) and I have a cam and soon to be S/C in it.

I have a neighbor (who I've never spoken to) that has a SS and it's still stock. That is just a foriegn concept to me. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps he's leasing the car?

the other day i was at the mall and i parked right next to a stock ss and man it looks empty ,only sad i didn't take a pic of both cars next to each other.

I actually like the Camaro in every trim level stock. I also like tasteful mods. Unfortunately I see about 4 mods that make camaros look worse for every one that makes them look better. Part of the reason I got a Camaro was its gorgeous lines. And it's very easy to cheapen it with ugly mods.

Same here. My first mods were trailing arms and toe rods. I ordered wheels because I scratched my stock ones and it made more sense to put the repair money toward wheels I could put wider rubber on later and keep the stock ones for winter tires. Plus I like mesh wheels. Very classic pattern.

Next mods will be cradle and diff carrier bushes. Then possibly springs and sways. But yeah I agree the thing lacking in this car is handling. There is no way I want more power till I can use all the power it already has.

An IOM ls moved in around the corner from my house and I have to see it almost every day when I get home. and my wife keeps telling me that she loves my car more with all the crap on it then naked.

I won't lie, I kind of frown upon stock Camaros in my city. I understand not everyone is into modding their car, and some would rather go fast, but I think it's perfectly healthy to have nice balance of both. I always laugh when I park near a stock one, because I wonder what the other person thinks when they get ready to drive off in theirs.

Agree, n there are alot of them out there, yet I respect each one, it his car and his taste, under it all its still a CAMARO
