Looks like you have two flat rear tires! Did you burn them off? Sorry I had to. I hope you found the source of your problem and get it fixed so you can enjoy your car.

Are the two items related?

I've had issue's with my garage opener Universal Remote also. I don't have tint or radar detector. Sometimes sitting right infront of the garage I have to push 10+ times to get it to work.

I have a new model Chamberlain garage door opener that claims to have an extened range. I can get 100 yards or more out of the visor remote in my Honda. The distance is cut to about 100 feet in the Camaro using the visor remote.

I did some research on various GM Forums and it appears that the Remote Door Lock Controller Module (RDLCM) is also responsible for reading the signal from the Tire Pressure Module (TPM).

This would explain BOTH issues I am seeing.

The car is currently back in the shop (again). Hopefully, they will check this as well as the Body Control Module (BCM).

I really want this issue fixed. It's keeping me from really enjoying the car.
I do apologize for any inconveniences and frustrations you experienced with issue you are having. Please let us know how service goes and if the dealership was able to address all of your concerns appropriately.

Thanks Brandon.

The dealership replaced the Remote Door Lock Controller Module (RDLCM). I will give it a few days to see how it works.

Here is an update to my issues:

The removal of the aftermarket parts fixed my issue. As we started adding the parts back, the issues reoccured when the Scosche kit was plugged in. Once we unplugged the kit, the issues disappeared.

A replacement kit was installed. It too re-created the problem. It wasn't as bad this time, but it is still a problem.

I am working with my installer to try another one (third time a charm??) or switch to a Metra kit.
