Does not eliminate a tank at all, but it helps the tank fill up twice as fast.

There's still plenty of room for groceries.
Sadly, not for golf clubs.

Yeah, super-late response. Sorry. Just saw this request again. Here's a pic with the system all up. Not for daily driving, but maybe for clearing roadkill. :>

I did a few modifications to the install of the items in the trunk:

Re-mounted tank for easier removal. The original install had the tank bolted through the floor, making it necessary to do acrobatics to take it back out again. I changed it so that the bolts actually act as studs poking up through from the bottom of the car. Now, I just take the nuts off and the tank comes out much more easily.

Re-mounted compressor for better fit. The compressor was too tall to fit under the battery compartment cover, so I re-clocked the mounts so that the compressor now lays sideways. Per Viair (maker of the compressor) it's ok to do this, but gravity working on the internals would likely reduce it's life compared to normal mounting straight up.

Also, I made my own aluminum brackets that mimicked the originals. And, I added rubber isolators (from MSD) to reduce the vibrations/noise from the compressor.

Modified factory battery lid and factory tire inflator holder. Everything (other than the tank) fits within the battery compartment now. I had to modify the styrofoam that holds the tire inflation compressor, and the battery compartment cover.

And, another great shot from a recent track day!

How hard is the ride now? Does it depend on the height or is the firmness the same on all settings?

How does the system handle on the track compared to how it was stock?

The firmness does go up as the pressure goes up. I think the ride is perfect within height range that any of us would be driving our cars. I just took my car to a local track event (Return to the Coast), and the system performed great. There are still some things I need to do like sway bars, etc.., but ride and handling didn't diminish with this setup.

I spoke to Jeremy on this system and he referred me locally but that's as far as it went and I got tired and disappointed! It was like the economy was so good that no one wanted my money. I had issues getting in and out of my driveway due to the apron, curb and street slope. I ended up just changing my entire front bumper cover to get the extra inches ( 3") that I needed to get in and out of my driveway.

I hope to one day, maybe get an airlift kit but it probably won't happen here in Indianapolis from the way the past has been with trying to get assistance on it.

BTW your whip looks killa slammed like that and I know you get many compliments on it.
My buddy and mentor in SoCal was all on board with me doing this mod and understood my frustration for it not happening. We just spoke last week and he still tells me I need to get bagged. The urgency is not as great now that I've gotten my medical release due to my 3 knee surgeries over the past year and that I the new front end put on. I now have options, time and convenience on my side.

Being at a lower ride height for the track did give it a better feel than stock. Adjustments can be made to the front struts, but honestly I was too caught up in the day to start tinkering. I see you're in SoCal too... The next track event I'm going to is in March at El Toro Marine Base. It's the "Run to the Coast" event sponsored by the American Street Car Series. I plan to have some Pfadt ZL1 sway bars on by then, and I'll be a good opportunity to begin tuning the Air Lift system.

If your knee injuries allow for it, I suggest giving the install a try yourself. I had expert help the first time, but most of the system has been taken off and re-installed since then. It's not complex. Very good instructions are included, and the guys at Air Lift Performance (Jeremy, Brian, and the rest) are super helpful and really into helping out. It's obvious they're proud of their work.
