thanks

I am happy that they are deciding to get this arranged for you, but I do also want to address your concern for the original color/brand of wheels. If you want to PM me your VIN, I can look for the original RPO code for them. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am also looking for the paint code so I can touch up a wheel. Day 3 and I scraped a curb with the right front. I was pretty pissed, but it should be easy to fix as long as I can match the paint.

Local guy who has a ZL1 curbed his and he fixed it. When he told me which wheel I went to look and I looked hard and saw nothing. I told him to give me a minute as I have an eye for detail being a barber and LEO, with a good hard look I just barely saw it. It touched it up with paint and you couldn't tell. The tire has a built in sidewall lip to prevent curbing but it doesn't/didn't work. So yea, they can be fixed. I know I did my midnight silver and it was not noticable. They also make a device for the tire or rims to prevent curbing and rash and they're not noticable at all.

Did he say what paint he used? That is the $1000 question.

This is the paint code that I got from Chevy customer service, however, I have no idea which brand it is. He didn't know...

"I did some more digging on this topic and I do appreciate your patience. I touched base with our internal resources and found that your wheels have PX0076 Satin Gloss Black App. Master. as a paint. I hope this works! Please keep me updated.

Same thing happened here on the first night due to valet parker -_- I used a little plasti-dip to temporarily relieve the eye sore.

I just Google searched PX0076 Satin Gloss Black and nothing came up. I was hoping it would cross reference to something off the shelf.

Cool, how much did it end up setting you back? Was it touched up with the same paint code mentioned earlier? Could you post a before and after pic together?

He got back with me and said this: I used Dupli-color Touch-up paint. Universal Black (NG SF 100). That is what the paint guide indicated to use for black.

All I can say is that it was dead on. I could not tell a difference in the paint at all. Hope this helps those who are in need.
