+1.

I'm running wild across the land and big bro has been watching the whole time and don't want no part of this.

And I owe it all to my armadillo helmet.

I may be wrong but if you let the subscription run out you are S.O.L if you are in a wreck....

im excited for onstar, i havent had it on any cars yet. and i like the emails, even though most of the stuff can be found out by looking into the DIC. and the code reading thing is really cool. if you go to onstars website, there is a demo that shows you everything that it will tell you...and it tells you everything

They won't have to prove it's me. They just have to ask me who I let drive my car.

"Mr. PeQueen, who was driving your car on the date and place in question"?

I don't recall.

"Who all do you let drive your car"?

NOBODY DRIVES MY CAR BUT ME!

The cameras you refer to are for running the Red light, two different statutes. Police will not give a ticket for unless they witness the offence, hence the reason why the speed cameras are placed so they shoot at oncoming traffic, so they get a picture of the driver.

Of course, different laws for different Staes too.

Here in Louisiana, they send you a video and pictures of your vehicle running the light. It also says your speed. I have seen these pics and vids and you can't tell who is driving most of the time. But like you said, each state has different laws so it could be that.

I'll most likely disable the system. Turn it off just like H.A.L.

I plan on keeping Onstar, it saved a friends of mine life when she had a wreck on a two lane road and went down into a gully.
Yeah I also get the reports every month about the hummer very good feature in my opinion

If the subscription runs out I don't believe that they will automatically report it, but you can still call 911 by pushing the button. They can't legally disable that feature. Same thing with old disabled cell phones, 911 will still work on them.
