Yeah i've seen yours. Pretty impressive for an L99 Auto. but the LS3 makes the same power as yours without heads so I'm curious to know what kind of gains if any will be had on the LS3. Just trying to see if its worth it on the manuals cause it certainly is on the Auto's.

Thanks, J-Rod.

You can expect between 10 to 20 HP from the heads. Regardless if it is a L99 or a LS3.. LS3 without head work is about 480 and with headwork is 495-500.. L99 is about 465 without head work and 480 with.. So the gains are about the same for either..Just FYI till you get exact #'s

this cam is sweet. it's not that the ls3 makes that much more power than a l99...it's that an auto tranny and tc rob a bit of what you are seeing on the dyno. You take the above guys car with the ls3 valvetrain conversion and compression bumped...I bet on an engine dyno it makes the same power as a ls3 with the same mock up.

How much did you mill? PTV clearances still ok I'm assuming.........

I would also like to mill mine so just looking for some feedback. You're also using the 7.425 pushrods, correct?
